Appraisal

We're 1 month from closing day!  And we still know nothing......

We did receive the results of our appraisal today.  The house was compared to 8 other properties in the area which have sold recently or are currently for sale.  It was interesting reading if nothing else.


Our lender has told us that we are on track for being approved for our loan on schedule.  We should know something this week or next week.  So we wait.


Andy & I are hoping to have a Home Depot date sometime soon to look at light fixtures, paint colors, tile, and whatever other exciting things we can find.  It's not likely we will be making any purchases yet, but we'll at least get some ideas for the future.

We're buying a house....or trying anyway.

We are currently in the loan process, which seems to be endless.  If all goes well closing date is July 19!

We had the home inspection today and I thought I'd take a few photos to share.  So here's the 'tour':

We have a long way to go before we're in, but it's pretty exciting.  After closing we'll be re-doing the rock on the fireplace, painting, cleaning carpets...and having a garage sale to get rid of all the extra stuff.
